More mods will be compatible with the Modular HUD!

Lately, I’ve had some time to game again, and I noticed something missing in LS25 that I definitely miss: the RealGPS mod!
That’s why I sat down yesterday and brought the RealGPS mod to LS25. The well-known features, such as zooming and switching the rotation mode, are, of course, still available.
However, since I already had the idea in LS22 to integrate the RealGPS mod into standard vehicles, this will now be a permanent feature in LS25. This means you can enjoy the benefits of RealGPS even without modded vehicles.
For the future, I’ve also modified the RealGPS shader a bit. Theoretically, up to 16 players can now be displayed on the PDA. However, I’m leaving open whether and how I will use this function for now. This feature may be added in a future update.
Unfortunately, as in LS22, it’s still not possible to display fields, hotspots, or similar elements on the map. The current state of LS simply doesn’t allow for that.
To compensate for this, the Custom PDA feature will be available again, just like in LS22. This allows you to store your own PDAs in the modSettings folder, and RealGPS will load them instead of the default map overview.
To avoid errors, the corresponding config.xml for each map will now be automatically generated by RealGPS. This means you only need to change two values in the XML file, copy the image into the folder, and your Custom PDA for RealGPS is ready to go!
The RealGPS config.xml now also includes a version number to prevent potential issues with Custom PDAs from LS22. However, this also means that PDAs from LS22 will not be compatible with the RealGPS mod for LS25.
